DESCRIPTION OF SESSION: Dr. Sterkel will provide a situational update on the Monkeypox outbreak. Discussion will include the risk factors for disease, testing options, and information on how to test at the WI State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH). LEVEL OF INSTRUCTION: INTERMEDIATE, Refresher course; some basic knowledge required PROGRAM OBJECTIVES: At the end of the session, the participant will be able to: 1. Describe the current Monkeypox outbreak situation. 2. Discuss the major testing options. 3. Explain how to test at the WSLH.
